55+ Age-targeted Neighborhood
Anderson Creek Club is one of the 50 Best Master-Planned Communities in the Country! (Where to Retire Magazine, July/August, 2013)
Anderson Creek Club offers a gateway for growth in body, mind and spirit.
At its most basic level, “active” means independent, so we work to enhance your activity choices and provide a wide range of intensity levels. Your preference - on your time table - at your skill level. We present a variety of on-site activities and easy access to natural or cultural attractions, shopping, nearby medical facilities, and large metropolitan areas.
But Anderson Creek Club is not simply real estate. Residents here have chosen a community and a lifestyle as their place to retire. We go beyond the old stereotypes of shuffleboard and knitting (although those activities are still on the schedule for those who love them). Through activities and amenities we promote a resort or vacation feeling . We also emphasize social interaction and a meaningful cultural life. Of course there is the famed Anderson Creek Club Golf Course in your backyard.
We recognize that “active” encompasses bodies, minds and spirits. We know that social interaction and camaraderie are as important to personal growth as physical activity and food. Without ever leaving their neighborhood residents enjoy sharing common interest and are encouraged to discover new ones. They like feeling connected through our close-knit neighborhoods and all agree that a maintenance-free lifestyle leaves more time and energy to pursue what matters most in life like: continuing education in all facets of art, literature, sciences, along with physical endeavors. But also, never forgetting perhaps the most important - building and renewing relationships with friends and family.
In addition to our active lifestyle, we emphasize friendliness and relaxation, balancing time at home and hanging out with neighbors and friends. Come visit and discover how our residents look after each other and their community - you will be welcomed home by a family of friends.
The Life-Long Learning Center
In 2010, developer David Levinson added several outstanding new features to the community, the first being his pet project - the Life Long Learning Center. The Center also is home to Patriot Hall, a multi-purpose facility providing enrichment activities for residents to expand their horizons, while also meeting new neighbors. Patriot Hall is also available as a multi-purpose facility for banquets, weddings, and other social events.
