Families of our Gated Communities
Anderson Creek Club offers 19 welcoming neighborhoods with dozens of new homes under construction, in a lovely gated and resort-like community of affordable homes and custom homes. Spread out over 1,700 acres of Pine Forest and offering resort-like amenitites such as 24 hour security, social activities, camps and lessons, parks and playgrounds, child care, pre-school, charter school, tennis courts, swimming pools, club houses, fitness centers, soccer field, basketball, sand volleyball, nature trails, fishing, paddle boats, ducks to feed, and did we mention World Class Golf? Warm, comfortable welcoming neighborhoods, where neighbors watch out for each other, are eager to lend a hand or offer a friendly visit. An amazing place to embrace life and to be welcomed home.
‘Knock On No Wrong Door’
In 2002, Anderson Creek Club near Fayettevile, NC, began building homes, then neighborhoods, all with the vision of serving as a ‘Military Welcoming Community’. Our vision is still alive and growing as we continue to work to enhance the lives of the active, reserve, guard and retired members of the United States Armed Forces, and to offer beautiful affordable homes and a special welcome to the Families of Ft. Bragg, our nearest military neighbor.
Military families serve our country with pride, honor, and quiet dedication.
At Anderson Creek Club we respectfully accept the critical responsibility of providing a ‘Military Welcoming Community’ by providing support and services to military families to ensure that military families can ‘knock on no wrong door’.
Given that more than 70 percent of military families around the country currently live “outside the gate” of military installations, providing support and services to military families in their neighborhoods is critical. Two million children have a parent in the military. The understanding military residents of Anderson Creek Club are well positioned and eager to provide the additional support needed for managing the stresses of deployment, reintegration and frankly, just everyday life. Through community activities, Women’s Clubs, Military Wives meetings, neighborhood block parties, children's activities, clubs, camps, and simple friendships, Anderson Creek Club is indeed an engaged ‘civilian’ community. It has been our continuous process to maintain the high level of fantastic amenities while keeping affordable homes available for all our military and civilian residents - to make sure all are welcome in friendship.
We offer our military spouses and families a unique respite from the uninformed outside world – many military families live ‘outside the gate’ but here near Fayetteville North Carolina, they have found a safe, welcoming, understanding neighborhood inside the gates of Anderson Creek Club.
“As America asks more of our military families, they have a right to expect more of us. This is our moral obligation.”
May 2010, National Military Family Association Military Family Summit
We are the silent ranks, the families of our active, reserve and guard members. It is our quiet privilege to stand alongside all those who serve, and knowing full well the risk, to raise our families to understand the calling that our loved ones have committed their lives to. We love you, we are grateful for your willing ransom, and we are proud to pay tribute to you, everyday. -Lori Volkman, Military Spouse and Military Brat
