Ralph Huff started H & H Homes in 1991 to fulfill his lifelong dream of building homes. His fifteen years’ prior experience as a banker and REALTOR gives him unique insight as to what homebuyers believe is most important.

His wife, Linda, joined the firm in 1994 and serves as the general manager today. The Huffs have developed numerous subdivisions including the construction of more than 2,000 beautiful single-family homes, apartments and commercial office buildings in Hoke, Cumberland, Moore and Harnett counties. Partner Ron Huff serves as the Engineer. He ensures the development standards of the subdivisions and the structural integrity of the homes are maintained according to precise plans.

Having both a personal and a working relationship 24 hours a day may not be an ideal situation to some, but the Huffs credit each other for making it work. “To me, it’s the best thing we’ve ever done,” Ralph said. “Our marriage is a partnership and our partnership is a marriage. We’ve achieved a lot, but we’ve both worked very hard. Linda’s been by my side every step of the way.”

Linda said working in the construction business has given her a new understanding of her husband’s job. “Every day is a learning experience, and that’s what makes it fun,” she said.
